Modus Engineering is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a chemical plant owner in Dordrecht.
This concerns direct permanent employment.
For our client, we are currently looking for Junior, Medior and Senior Mechanical Engineers.
The Job:
– You will be focussing on the Basic Engineering of the Piping and the Mechanical project scopes
– You will help with making the conceptual, FEED and detailed Mechanical design. You will also analyse the designs made by other employees
– You will make mechanical specifications and check and approve mechanical specifications made by other employees
– You will control and analyse if the compliance requirements are being followed according to the guidelines
– You are responsible for the coordination and specification of FATs and SATs for mechanical equipment
– You will check if the discussed HS&E and Maintenance requirements of the project are imitated in the detailed design
– You will analyse technical quotations, bid tabulations and evaluations and queries
– You have a BSc in an engineering proficiency, preferably Mechanical Engineering
– You have 2+ years of experience in the Chemical industry, where you also have experience with the development and design of installations
– You have knowledge in international and national regulations & guidelines corresponding to the industry
– You have somewhat experience with pressure vessel calculations and design software
– You speak and understand Dutch
– You will work at one of the biggest chemical companies in the world with more than 60.000 employees globally
